- submitting your information to one or more registered credit bureaus;
- accessing and processing your consumer credit information, where legally permitted;
- using this information to assess your financial position, verify the information you supplied and generate an indicative debt-relief, debt-consolidation, repayment or related financial quote; and
- sharing the relevant information with the partner responsible for assessing or providing the requested service.
By submitting your details and accepting these Terms, you authorise the assessments and credit-bureau enquiries described in this section, including an assessment by an authorised debt-relief partner where you do not qualify for the financial product initially requested.
Any quote, assessment, estimated saving or repayment amount is indicative only and does not guarantee acceptance, approval, reduced repayments, savings or any particular financial outcome.
4.2 Debt Relief Partner and Credit Bureau Consent
Where you apply for a financial product or service through SecureFinance.co.za and you do not qualify for, or are unable to obtain, the product initially requested, you expressly consent to Service Driven Digital sharing your relevant personal information with selected authorised financial wellness, debt-relief and debt-counselling partners, including DebtSafe (Pty) Ltd, for the purpose of assessing whether an alternative financial solution may be suitable for you.
For this purpose, you authorise DebtSafe (Pty) Ltd and other appropriately authorised partners, where applicable, to:
- receive and process the personal, contact, identification, employment, income and other financial information that you have provided to us;
- use your South African identity number and other information to verify your identity;
- obtain, access and process your consumer credit information or credit profile from registered credit bureaus or other lawful sources of consumer credit information;
- assess your financial circumstances and determine whether you may qualify for debt counselling, debt review, debt restructuring or another relevant financial solution; and
- contact you regarding the outcome of that assessment and any solution that may be available to you.
Any credit bureau enquiry or assessment will be conducted only for the purposes described above and subject to applicable South African law, including the National Credit Act and the Protection of Personal Information Act.
Sharing your information with DebtSafe or another partner does not mean that you have applied for or entered into debt review, and you are not obliged to accept any service or proposal offered to you.
5. Marketing and Promotions
You may receive promotional messages about:
- Loans, credit tools, or insurance-related products
- Related services that may assist you financially
These messages will always include an opt-out option. You may unsubscribe at any time.
6. Third-Party Providers and Offers
